Discussion: As the popularity of Permanent Cosmetics grows,
so does the industry.
The practice of Permanent Cosmetics, whether called Derma-Pigmentation,
Micro-Pigmentation, Permanent Make-Up or Cosmetic Tattooing is regulated
differently in each state. Some require licensing while others may only require
registration with the local health department office. There are states that
have no statutes in effect at all, some that have regulations in only county
or city jurisdictions and others that prohibit it entirely.
Given today's public health and safety consciousness, non-regulated states are
getting on board to enact at least some primary legislation in this area. As
the industry becomes more regulated nationwide, educational and training
standards will be added to existing laws that focus more and more on health
and safety standards.
Forever Beautiful Permanent Make Up by Janice T. Eyerly is not responsible for
informing anyone about the laws governing permanent cosmetics and encourages
inquiring parties to examine the relevant statutes in their respective states,
counties, cities, and all cognizant health officials for detailed information
about local, county, and state ordinances in the area they intend to work.
More information about the Laws governing permanent cosmetics (PMU)

abbreviation for state you are researching in place of "XX"). Website list for

When considering the magnitude of research required to know all regulations,
codes, ordinances, and rules for every state, country, and local governments
plus the health department rules, it is impossible for Forever Beautiful to
claim responsibility for knowing all rules. It therefore is the responsibility
of each and every prospective student, current student, and post graduate to
research their
own applicable laws, regulations, and codes plus local health department
requirements and not expect or hold Forever Beautiful Permanent Make Up
liable if a prospective student, current student, or post graduate student
finds herself or himself in non compliance with any regulations or laws.
