Permanent MakeUp Training

Permanent Cosmetics for Eye Brows, Eye Liner, Beauty Marks, Lip Liner, and Full Lips are being discovered by people from all walks of life including professional women, athletes, those with poor eyesight or unsteady hands, and those with sensitivities to traditional cosmetics. Imagine saving 15 minutes a day or more in application of your regular cosmetics. That could amount to almost 92 hours a year!! Also specialized procedures are available for Alopecia, Areola restoration, Vitiligo, Scar Camouflage, and Tattoo removal. Our training center is just a few minutes drive from the Jacksonville, Florida International Airport; we are close to exciting Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Cumberland Island, and Fernandina Beach areas. Classes are taught by Janice T., Board Certified, a Certified National Trainer, and a National Certified Instructor every week throughout the year.

Permanent Makeup Training, also known as Permanent Cosmetics, Micropigmentation and or Intradermal Implantation, is the " Make-Up of the Future"! As this form of self-improvement and beautification becomes more widely known, the demand for talented technicians also known as practitioners grows. The following quote is taken from a major permanent cosmetics society: "The field of Permanent Cosmetics is an exciting and growing industry. Electrologists, estheticians, nurses, tattoo artists, cosmetologists and physicians are among the diverse group who have invested in permanent cosmetics training, and added this specialty to their portfolio of services."

What type of procedures are offered? Technicians, now titled Practitioners, usually begin with traditional cosmetic services such as eyeliner, brow design, lip liner and full lips in the Basic Course. Advanced training can lead the technician/practitioners into paramedical procedures such as re-pigmentation or camouflage of scars and imperfections. When breast cancer survivors have undergone reconstructive surgery, techniques can be used to create the illusion of areolas and nipples. Burn survivors and those born with disfiguring birth marks are also candidates for intradermal cosmetic implantation.
