Forever Beautiful Permanent Make Up

Page Revised: January 12, 2009

Before giving you a summary of what we offer, we would like to list points of: what a prospective student should look for in a Trainer/Instructor; and what to look for in the training facility before investing in expanding your expertise in a related field.

The field of Permanent Cosmetics is exciting and growing rapidly.

As is often the case with a rapidly growing field, there are many places to train. So pick your choice very carefully;

Do you wish to find a school that trains you for two days and then turns you loose on people's faces ... alone? Would you want this poorly trained technician working on your face?;

Very long classes are not the best option because students cannot afford to go away from home to study and lose income from their own jobs. So, please look for a Training Facility teaching the approved Basic Course! Why? Because it provides they provide several options with live models and covers all areas to ensure you come out as a graduate ready to work, a graduate confident, and a graduate competent;

We now are offering a range of Basic, Specialized, and Advanced Courses, each meets the needs of the individual; please read the choices on the main page. Please call about these programs, 912-882-6096.

A Beginning course should teach you, thoroughly, to do Eye Liners, Eye Brows, and Lip Liners. Other procedures are Advanced Work.

"How many students should be in each class? There should not be more than 4 per class. If there are more you may be headed for trouble;

"How much 'Hands-On Training' Almost all is best and will you be one-on-one with an instructor during your procedures?";

"How many live models and procedures will you do personally do? Four procedures should be minimum, but Six should be demanded by the student;

"How qualified is your instructor?" The Trainer should be recommended by a leading society such as the the AAM. The Trainer should be teaching the society approved and recommend Basic Course;

The Trainer should show proof of Training and Continuing Education Units that are recent and up-to-date;

Will the Trainer offer claims made in Writing?

Other areas of concern are: Will the Trainer put you directly in contact with previous students? This is the best gauge of a school's reputation.

Does the trainer include any and all areas in the course? This should include as a minimum: skin structure; makeup artistry; sterilization; health considerations; equipment operation and maintenance; needles; autoclave; pigment selection; color blending; client history forms; pre and post care procedure care; notes; consent forms; documenting to include proper photographic documentation; lists of suppliers and other good resources; the types of machines and explain the advantages and disadvantages of each type; and a great Training Manual to keep as your reference.

The exceptional school will also maintain pictures of your procedures and your progress through the course. Give you a copy of this pictorial journey through the course as a start for your own portfolio!

A question to ask: Is the Trainer a graduate of the Federally mandated Bloodborne Pathogens Course 29 CFR 1910.1030? Does the Trainer attend the update once each two years?

Is the Trainer trained in CPR & First Aid by the American Red Cross and updates each year?

Does the Trainer provide any Continuing Support after you graduate?

Does the Trainer also teach Advanced and Specialty Courses?

As you read this Brochure Page & the Training Page, you will find Forever Beautiful meets or exceeds these requirements and we put our claims in writing

Now the Brochure Continues

This brochure is a summary of what we offer in our Basic Permanent Cosmetics-Makeup Course; for more detailed information, Click Back to the previous page and Click on the Permanent Makeup - Cosmetics Training Page or Click on the Link to the Training Page located at the bottom of this page. The Permanent Makeup - Cosmetics Training Page will spell out, in detail, everything you can expect to receive from our course.

In summary, with us:

You will be taught by a Recognized National Member Instructor of the AAM and Board Certified by the AAM;

You will receive a Certificate recognized by the major Permanent Cosmetics Society and you will have no problem getting insurance, joining all societies, and qualify to take state board exams in the very few states that are licensed;

Every student taking one of our Basic Course may receive personal Permanent Cosmetics procedures on themselves; each course option tells how many procedures go with that course. This is up to a $1,950.00 value if the student had to pay for all these procedures. So come study, add a well-paying, exciting, and fun career and get your Permanent Cosmetics as a part of your course!

With the longest Basic Course, you will normally perform 8 Full Cosmetics Procedures and not share parts of a given procedure with another student; this ensures you will know every step in every procedure prior to graduation, our Basic Courses options offers varying numbers of guaranteed procedures, please read the basic page for the number of procedures; We schedule each student for the appropriate number of procedures for the chosen course option but sometimes there are models who cancel at the last minute. It also should be noted, we schedule 2 Lip Liner models, but have no control on their actually showing. So of the six procedures we guarantee, we guarantee one Lip Liner procedure. It should be noted that when a student leaves us and is working, only 1 of every 20 procedures will be Lip Liner and that ratio is the same for us finding models for training. The new PMU Practitioner will find 95% of the procedures will be Eye Liner and the other 5% will be Eye Brows and of that, very few Lip Liners. We wish we could find more Lip Liners for students, but our search is subject to the same percentages as is found in the working world.

You will know all forms required to conduct a procedure, you will learn and take all the photographs required to conduct a procedure, you and the model will decide exactly what the model wants for her procedure, you will apply and learn which topical to use before and during a procedure, you will conduct the post-procedure steps such as After-Care Instructions, the scheduling of the mandatory 6 Week Evaluation & Touch Up; and post-procedure photographs. In other words, do each step to ensure you will Learn-By-Doing. This way you will be ready to work when you leave us.

We offer a unique service as part of your tuition. Every picture of every phase of your training and every model's picture taken will and placed on a CD. The CD will be handed to you so you have a pictorial record of your training and also a huge start on developing your own portfolio!;

You will receive your own copy of our Copyrighted Training Manual packed with the different aspects of our profession. Packed with essential things you need to know in starting your business, and packed with many references. This manual has been well received and even one state requested to use it as one of their basic references for their state Permanent Cosmetics Course;

You will be made aware of Advanced Procedures during the course.

You will be able to receive Permanent Cosmetics procedures consistent with the Basic Course at NO extra cost - included in your tuition. If you want more procedures, then the cost of $50 per extra procedure.This is a tremendous value! NOTE: Since some people may have their lips break out after a Permanent Cosmetics Lip Liner procedure, please check with us to see if you should bring a recommended medication with you.

Open Door Policy for support: you may call us, email us, or return anytime within one year of your initial training for a refresher; we will allow you to come in for a 1 day visit.
